This versatile mobile base kit will get stationary workshop machinery moving, allowing for the construction of a customised mobile platform, unrestricted in shape or size. Whether moving lathes, table saws, router tables or storage units, this mobile base kit will adapt to any footprint, to free up valuable workshop space and more easily organise and clean your workshop.
With no external frame, each bracket mounts onto the corners of a suitably strong plywood base (not supplied) and provides a combined load capacity of 181kg. All mounting hardware is provided, with the mounting holes easily marked and drilled using the corner plates as a template. To move any object once mounted, simply press down on the large foot levers to lift the base upwards, reposition where required, and then lower back in place by flicking the levers upwards. Once lowered, non-slip levelling feet keep the lifted castors off the floor, keeping the base stationary and secure once again.
The kit provides complete flexibility as to how the wheels are arranged, allowing you to consider both the operation of the machine and the effect it has on overall stability. The large 75mm diameter wheels provide a smooth, gliding travel across the workshop floor and are constructed from a hard wearing, no mar polymer. Each heavy gauge steel component is epoxy powder coated to provide a hard-wearing, chip resistant finish to withstand the rigors of workshop use. ©
